I was born on The Big Island of Hawaii.

At 17 I moved to Colorado.

My parents are high school sweethearts and are still married.

I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters-in-love.

I’m the eldest sibling.

3 crazy cute nephews.

My mom is an amazing quilter and all around seamstress.

I despised sewing as a child & teenager.

I became a single mother at the age of 24 to my sweet son Cheyenne.

He’s my favorite person in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!

At the age of 25 my mom convinced me to sew a simple patchwork QUEEN size quilt while I was visiting on vacation.

I loved it.

At the age of 28 I moved back to Hawaii with my son.

Again, my mother was convinced I should sew another quilt.

This time, I went for KING size.

I loved it even more.

A few mothers later, I quilted a funky jean QUEEN size quilt for a wedding gift.

In 2009, I made my first crazy patch quilt with a giraffe applique in toddler size.

It was a gift.

I uploaded a picture on my personal facebook page.

The orders started all on their own.

And they still haven’t stopped.

My “real” job is a custom cabinet designer.

I married my co-worker of 3 years in 2011 because he knows how to love me.

I have 3 step children.

My OCD {only child disorder} son is mostly happy with the arrangement.

I crave information.

Love documentaries as much as dark chocolate.

I am a full time senior in college.

Food is my nemesis.

I hate working out.

I’m way organized but don’t make lists.

Clean is a must.

Messy annoys the heck out of me.

I’m a stickler for fairness.

I’ve found happy and haven’t lost it.

Love, I eat up and appreciate wholeheartedly.

I love reading quilting blogs.

Google rocks my socks.

I love helping others.

Appreciate good friends that allow me to grow and experience life as it ebbs and flows without expectations.

Miss the variety of people and places in the states.

Love island visitors.

Overall, I’m I happy duck. It’s about living life to the fullest with the resources I have available. To love each other, have kind intentions, the confidence to stand for the truth, and dedication to raise children with deep character. And while they are outside playing, I’m inside being quilty and crafty.
